Today I finally worked on the projects that I have been meaning to do for the kids' room. I bought the Create a Critter cartridge like 4 years ago with the intent of decorating the nursery/kids room with animals. At long last, I actually DID it. I brought out my Cricut (dusted it off) and set to work. I cut each animal at around 3 inches, give or take a few increments. I used Mod Podge to affix my cute lil critters to the canvases and painted over them to give them a nice gloss. I used the matte finish Mod Podge but I like the result. The last picture is really shiny because I couldn't wait until it dried to take a pic!
Everyday I discover something new. I'm wonderfully dramatic and always excited. Come on in and prepare to be engulfed in the happy, crazy, random world that is mine!

Holiday Card
This is a card I made to try out on the new cartridge I'm loving...Damask Decor. This card is perfect for the holidays, especially for those that do not celebrate Christmas.
Cricut Damask Decor Cards
Last week I purchased the Cricut Damask Decor cartridge at Joann's Fabric for the low, low price of $29.99! That is a great deal considering that cartridge is regularly $89.99. The Damask Decor cartridge includes cards, envelopes, gift, tags, and embellishments for envelopes. I decided to try out the cartridge by making a couple of cards. I chose to keep the cards simple because I was just experimenting. How do you like them?

What projects have you done using this cartridge, I would love to see!

Sweet Baby Cakes
This was my first attempt at a diaper cake for a Noah's Ark themed shower for twin boys. I used my Cricut Expression and used the Create A Critter cartridge. The lucky mommy surely needed those diapers and I was happy to oblige! I hope to expand my repertoire and move on to more sophisticated diaper cakes like these....
