Winter Party Ideas

I've been scouring the internet for some more fun things to do for the kid's parties this winter.  Being a summer baby myself, I am finding it hard to find winter birthday activities that are as fun (to me) as summer activities.  In the past the kid's parties have consisted of lots of food, sweet treats, and... adults.  This was fine when they were turning 1 and 2, but now they are turning 2 and 3.  I have to fine some more kid friendly ideas.  But for now, I'm sticking with the adults goodies! ;o)

I thought this would be great for Deuce's party in January.

I found this option too.

Can't Forget about my Baby Boy

Just like I'm getting ready for Amari's party, I need to get ready for Deuce's 2nd birthday also. The babysitter told me that he loves her sock monkey....so that gave me an idea.

A SOCK MONKEY PARTY!

Those are some ideas that I picked up around the web.  I should check Pintrest to see what other cute ideas I can find. Lord knows I'm not crazy about red, but I'll stomach it for my little prince!

Hello Kitty Inspiration

During my blog searching today I found this awesome site. It's called Celebrations at Home. There is a tremendous amount of ideas and fun things to try.  On the site, the author has a section where you can search for parties by color. BINGO! I searched for pink of course (my fave, fave, fave, color) and found this adorable Hello Kitty Party!  It's even got my second favorite color in it, green. So it turns out that this party came from a site called Charm Event Design.  A wonderful site as well! Please check out both of these site for lots of cool party ideas. w00t w00t!

I can totally do all of this with my Cricut Expression! I'll just need a little help from the SIL.

I think I need to get started. Her birthday is in December, right before Christmas...

PARTY, PARTY, PARTY

My daughter Amari will be turning 3 this year.  I have two babies, birthdays 3 weeks apart, SQUEEZE in Christmas, and we're headed to the poor house at the end of every year. Needless to say.....I have to start early.  So I picked out a theme for Amari's party and it is....

HELLO KITTY!

Never mind the fact that Target had a TON of Hello Kitty stuff in their dollar section a few weeks ago. (LOVE. THAT. PLACE.) I will be making these adorable cake pops for the blessed event. Wish me luck! Click here for more Hello Kitty ideas.
