FIELD TRIP!!!

I love my job! I get to go on field trips just like the good ole' days in elementary school.....well kind of except now I'm in charge. Bwaaahhhhhaaahhhaaaa! So I took my kids on a field trip to the Fernbank Science Center and Planetarium in Atlanta. They weren't thrilled at first, but as the day progressed they started having fun as youngsters do. My trusteeeeee co-workers decided to tag along for the ride too.  I definitely think we had more fun than the kids. Oh well, they need to lighten up anyway!

I should delete this...

Sweet Baby Cakes

This was my first attempt at a diaper cake for a Noah's Ark themed shower for twin boys.  I used my Cricut Expression and used the Create A Critter cartridge. The lucky mommy surely needed those diapers and I was happy to oblige! I hope to expand my repertoire and move on to more sophisticated diaper cakes like these....

Death By Chocolate

It would be a worthy death. Don't you think? This is my newest obsession, thanks to a certain someone.  I've set my sights on making this plate of deliciousness a wonderful reality... diet be damned.  Baby steps, baby steps....30 pounds will take time so, for now, on with the chocolate CAKE! Click here to join me. ;o)

Water, Water Everywhere

Family day at the lake. Lake Allatoona to be exact. Lake Allatoona is a beautiful lake close to Atlanta, Georgia.  It's the most popular lake in Georgia and among the most visited in the whole United States. It's run by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers who built it in the 1950s. Anyways, it was fun and we loooooooved it!

Kids, food, water, and spirits of course.  We all worked on our tans.  The weather was great, a slight breeze to keep us cool.

Deuce and Kaya, he is saying cheese!
